CES completed the works to facilitate the connection between NQRDC and JCU, as well as provide future capacity in line with the Master Plan 2035 and 2065.

A network of six new conduits – two for Service Providers (e.g., Telecommunications provider/ AARNET) and four for the University around campus. CES installed and terminated at key points along the network with in-ground pits. This facilitated the installation of approximately two and a half kilometres (2.5km) of conduits and approximately ten kilometres (10km) of fibre optic cabling.
