Garden Swimming Club
Platinum Level Sponsor
We are proud to support the Garden Swimming Club, providing essential resources to enable ongoing development opportunities for their swimming members.
Recently, CES sponsored talented swimmers from the Gardens Swimming Club as they take on the MS Super Splash!
The MS Super Splash is a fantastic event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis (MS);
a condition that affects more young people than any other acquired chronic neurological disease. By supporting this cause, we're helping to make a difference in the lives of those diagnosed with MS.
Join us in cheering on our swimmers as they dive in for a great cause! Showing our support and helping them make a splash!
James Cook University Partnership
JCU's engineering education places students directly into industry environments - through facilities like the Engineering & Innovation Place, Work-Integrated Learning & Professional Practice placements, scholarship-linked internships, and embedded research partnerships. These rich, practical experiences equip students with real-world skills, networks, and confidence to launch engineering careers globally.
CES are proud to be a sponsor of the JCU Engineering Undergraduate Society (EUS) and facilitate cadet engineer's pathway to employment.
Townsville Men's Shed
CES sponsor and support the Men's Shed Townsville.
Men’s Sheds make a significant contribution to the wellbeing of members, as well as contributing to building vibrant inclusive and healthy communities.
Men’s Sheds are an international phenomenon that started right here in Australia, and they have become an integral part of many local communities across Queensland.
Men’s Sheds are community based and non-commercial incorporated legal entities. They provide a safe, supportive, friendly and inclusive space for their members to gather and work on projects at their own pace and in their own time, while being in the company of others. A key focus of Men’s Sheds is advancing the health and wellbeing of members, they provide social support and camaraderie, and the opportunity for meaningful community connection.
CES welcomed third-year civil engineering students from James Cook University to the Telstra Office construction site (2024) to give them a chance to gain practical exposure for their concrete design class.
This site visit gave students an opportunity to enhance their understanding of concrete design through the context of real-world construction applications.
CES recently enjoyed a fantastic team-building session at Cutheringa Bowls Club, seizing the opportunity to strengthen our bonds while supporting a cherished local sporting venue.
We not only contribute to our community but also empower our dedicated team members who actively volunteer their time and skills back into the community.
CES proudly supports and actively engage with the Townsville community through the years, fostering growth, nurturing talent, and backing initiatives that enhance the quality of life for all residents.
